Events​

 

APEC economies have advanced cooperation on women’s economic empowerment and services trade through a series of workshops, dialogues, and side-events convened under the APEC Group on Services (GOS), often in collaboration with PPWE and other relevant fora.

​

This section provides information and materials from APEC events that have supported:

• policy learning and exchange of good practices,

• engagement with the private sector and other stakeholders,

• deeper understanding of barriers and enabling policies for women’s participation in services trade,

• discussion of policy tools to promote women’s participation in digitally delivered and other high-value services sectors.

 

Where available, event programmes and related documents are provided to support continuity of learning and facilitate replication of successful approaches across APEC economies.
